I am Fred Mix, born in New Orleans, LA, with a heritage of ships and the sea in my veins. Jimmy Buffett put it best in saying "Son of a son, son of a son, son of a son of a sailor." After a very successful career as a professional captain traveling the local waters of Hilton Head Island, the Eastern seaboard and the Bahamas, I chose to put my love and knowledge of boating to work. I have been a yacht broker for over ten years with hundreds of satisfied customers. My repeat business is wonderful and I acquire new listings and meet new people daily.
